Renee Powell, M.Ed.
Founder & Lead Learning Specialist
Certified educator with 14+ years designing differentiated learning programs across New York and supporting families with compassionate care.
We started Reneva because children aren’t data points.
After more than a decade in traditional classrooms, we noticed a heartbreaking pattern: students who simply needed ten more minutes of patience, a different visual explanation, or a caring nod were being labeled “behind.”
At the same time, we saw working parents in our own Bronx and Westchester neighborhoods exhausted by the hunt for reliable, loving childcare—people they could trust in their homes who wouldn’t just park their kids in front of a tablet.
We built Reneva Learning Co. to be the bridge: a warm learning studio where education is unhurried, rigorous, and personal. We teach students all over the world online because great teaching shouldn’t have geographic borders. And we care for little ones locally in our home communities because reliable childcare takes a neighborhood.
